With 17 years of professional experience, Nageena Akhtar has an extensive background in chiropractic care. She started her career as an Academic Liaison Officer at AECC in 2004 and has been an associate chiropractor since 2006. She holds memberships with the General Chiropractic Council, UK, and the Royal College of Chiropractors. Since moving to the UAE, she has been a DHA licensed chiropractic practitioner in Dubai since 2016 and a DOH licensed practitioner in Abu Dhabi since 2018.

Nageena Akhtar graduated in 2006 from AECC with the Best All-round Student and Students’ Student Award. She was the Head Delegate for the World Congress of Chiropractic Students in Melbourne, Australia, in 2006. Her post-graduate achievements include certification in dry needling, Hijama cupping therapy, and various neuroanatomy and neurodevelopmental courses. Dr. Nageena’s personal experiences with her son’s neurodevelopmental delay and the loss of two children to neurometabolic disease have fueled her passion for treating children with special needs. She is certified in the Melillo Methods and continuously updates her knowledge to provide the best care for her patients.
