Roy Thomas graduated in 1995 from Christian Medical College under Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, where he was awarded the prize for Best All-Rounder in the course. He completed his Masters in Physiotherapy full-time from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India.

Roy Thomas has nearly 30 years of experience as a physiotherapist. He began his career working in the hospital where he was born, serving as a junior physiotherapist for 2 ½ years. In the UAE, Roy gained extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient facilities at Abu Dhabi Rehabilitation Centre, Central Hospital, Al Jazira Hospital, Al Mafraq Hospital, and Sheikh Khalifa Hospital until 2005. Roy was instrumental in setting up the Physiotherapy Department at the Canadian Medical Centre, where he has been leading the department ever since.

Roy has extensive experience in treating sporting injuries, orthopedic and spinal injuries, and performing pre and post-surgical procedures involving sports injuries.

He provides specialized treatment for a variety of conditions and disorders.

Roy remains committed to achieving high standards for clients and staff and is recognized as a leader in his profession. He is continuously advancing his skills and knowledge, currently progressing in his ANF Therapy course. Roy has a personal interest in badminton, cricket, volleyball, swimming, and football, and caters to many elite players both locally and internationally. He lives with his family in Abu Dhabi.
