There are three types of breast surgery clinically known as mammoplasty:

1. Breast augmentation surgery or breast enlargement
2. Breast lift surgery and
3. Breast reduction

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation or enlargement clinically known as augmentation mammoplasty  is a procedure that enhances the breasts by increasing the size and volume due to aging, weight loss and post pregnancy.

The procedure is both reconstructive and enhancement. Thus, it will meet both functional and cosmetic objectives.

The procedure entails inserting breast implants or with the use of fat transfers inside the breasts.

What breast augmentation or enlargement can do?

It can increase the size and restore bounciness of the breasts
It can improve proportionality and the overall look of the body figure
It can boost self-confidence and image

Who can have breast enlargement?

The suitable candidates are:

    People who have lost their breasts’ and volume after pregnancy or due to aging
    People who their chests are flat and wants to improve their physical appearance
    People who have imbalanced breasts
    People whose breasts are asymmetrical
    People whose breasts developed abnormally and needs corrective procedure
    People who have no medical or health conditions and can easily heal after any surgery.
    Non-smokers (must at least quit for a minimum of two weeks before procedure)
    People who have positive outlook in life and expectations

    Breast Lift Surgery

    Breast lift surgery or clinically known as mastopexy  is a procedure that lifts sagging breasts by removing excess skin and tissues around the breast improving the shape and making it look tight and perky.

    The causes for breast to sag can be any of the following:

    Aging
    Massive weight lost
    Breastfeeding
    Post pregnancy
    Genetics

    What a breast lift can’t do?

    Increase the size and volume of breasts. If this is the goal then a breast lift combined with breast enlargement is good.

    It will not make the breasts smaller either. If this is the goal then breast lift combined with breast reduction is good.

    It doesn’t make the outer sides of the breasts rounder. If this is the goal then a breast lift combined with breast enlargement is good.

    Who can have breast lift?

    The suitable candidates are:

    People have a stable weight and are physically fit
    Self-confidence has diminished due to sagging breasts
    People with nipples pointing downwards
    One breast is low or higher than the other
    People whose breasts are elongated
    People who have stretched nipples and overlarge areolas
    Non-smokers (must at least quit for a minimum of two weeks before procedure)

    People who have positive outlook in life and expectations

    Breast Reduction
    Breast reduction clinically known as reduction mammoplasty is a procedure to help women with excessively large breasts to unburden them from neck pain,  back pain and other body aches caused by carrying excessively large breasts.

    Breast reduction can change a woman’s life significantly, as it will relieve them of pains, be able to perform athletic activities and may improve their self-esteem.
